AnnaSophia Robb is announced as the actress who will play a young Carrie Bradshaw in the prequel film of SATC, The Carrie Diaries.

AnnaSophia is a relatively unknown candidate for the Carrie challenge, given that the last name to be bandied around for the job was Blake Lively. But the 18-year-old has landed what will no doubt be the role that guarantees her the big time.

 While Anna is not yet a big name, she has already enjoyed starring roles on the big screen.In 2005, she played Opal in Because of Winn-Dixie and Violet Beauregarde in Tim Burton's remake of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

 Anna's biggest role to date has been as the leading lady in Soul Surfer, a film about a teenage surfer who gets back on the board after losing her arm in a shark attack.The red carpet has seen a lot more of AnnaSophia lately, and she's already working some serious style. Anna's already tried to get in on the fashion action, appearing as the face of Trad Clothing in the US and getting involved in the design process for its ranges.

 Taking on the character of Carrie has some serious style connotations, so Anna will have to up her game when it comes to off-duty dressing, too.

Anna's got four years of dancing to thank for her slim figure, as she spent her formative years as a dancer and gymnast before turning her hand to acting.

Anna's proving herself to be a kindhearted soul, as her website points readers in the direction of all the human, animal and environmental causes she supports.

Yesterday we were celebrating Vlada and Danil's b-days the whole night. And I have so mixed feelings... To make a long story short, we had a lot of adventures like night visit of landlord (because we were too loud at rent apartment), me being really drunk and feeling sick all night and also a sea of broken things. We couldn't sleep because of two assholes and terribly uncomfortable sofa.
I feel myself so shit even now, it's the worth hangover! Ever!  I need a lot of water and this awful pics to remind us about yesterday's advantures. I'm so drunk, fat and red on them, but it's Ok for such crazy parties. I'm sure we'll remember 10 of march forever (well ok, some of it). happy b-day, Danil and Vlada again! Love u guys!!!
